Facial masks can be divided into the following categories according to their materials and usage methods:

Paper masks: This is the most common type of facial mask, made of paper or cotton cloth, soaked in various essences. Paper masks are easy to carry and use, do not need to be washed, and are suitable for quickly replenishing moisture and nutrients to the skin.

Peel-off masks: This type of mask promotes blood circulation and metabolism by raising the temperature of the epidermis, and is suitable for oily skin and parts with strong oil secretion. However, since the tearing action may irritate the skin, it is recommended that oily skin be used once every 2-3 weeks, and other types of skin should not be used.

Mud masks: Mud masks usually contain ingredients such as kaolin and clay, and are mainly used for deep cleansing and oil absorption. They are suitable for oily skin and skin with thick keratin.

Gel masks: This type of mask is suitable for allergic skin and mainly nourishes the skin by hydrating. When using it, it needs to be applied to a certain thickness, usually the thickness of a coin.

‌Night cream mask‌: This type of mask is highly nutritious and highly absorbent, suitable for all skin types, usually used at night, and is a wash-free mask.

‌Powder mask‌: Powder mask needs to be mixed with water into a paste before being applied to the face.
